Designed to Dissapear explores the beauty of impermanence through garments designed to exist for a single unforgettable evening. Constructed from bioalgae yarn and biodegradable bio-leather made from gelatine, each look begins as a complete garment but gradually transforms through wear. As the wearer dances, sweats, embraces others, and moves through the energy of a night out with friends, the materials naturally begin to break down, causing the garment to slowly unravel and desinigrate. By sunrise, only fragments remain, leaving behind a visual record of the experience. The collection challenges the fashion industry's idea of fast and slow fashion by presenting clothing as a living material with its own life cycle—one that celebrates transformation, embraces ephemerality, and ultimately returns to nature rather than becoming waste.
